ARMSTRONG BUILDERS
Vic Armstrong, Jr. has been a leader in the Bloomington-Normal real estate industry for over 45 years. Vic began working with his father, Vic Armstrong, Sr., in 1967. After his father retired, Vic continued to successfully expand Armstrong Builders into two new markets: Champaign and Peoria. During his career, Vic has built over 4,500 homes and 1,000 apartments in Peoria and Bloomington. Vic Armstrong is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Illinois.
Tom Armstrong is a Bloomington native. After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan in 1989, Tom owned a construction company for 15 years, building and remodeling homes in the Wrigley Field area of Chicago. In 2005, he returned home to Bloomington to be the owner and manager of Armstrong Builders of Peoria. In 2010, Tom stepped into the role of owner and manager of Armstrong Builders in Bloomington as well. Tom Armstrong is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Illinois.
Paul Phillips has been involved in the building industry of Central and east Central Illinois for over 30 years. Having first provided services for other builders, he then became partner and owner of Armstrong Construction of Champaign twenty years ago. Since that time, Paul has focused on quality-built homes, specifically custom home building and remodeling. Paul also takes an active role working with the local, state and national committees in the Home Builders Association so that consumer's needs are represented at each level.

is a family owned business that has been building throughout the Midwest for over 30 years. We are a company that specializes in residential construction, commercial construction and land development.
THE NEXT GENERATION:
We feel that a great company is more than just the sum of its parts. In 2003 Marti was joined by his nephew Tanner Rave. Tanner graduated from Northern Illinois University and began his building career working for subcontractors and tradesmen that Marti employed. Through this experience Tanner acquired firsthand knowledge of building a structure from the ground up. Tanner eventually assumed responsibility for the home and commercial building division of the company. His rigorous work ethic, education and commitment to excellence goes well beyond a contract. In 2011 another Rave joined the company. Son, Blake Rave studied construction management at Parkland College and worked in carpentry and tile before coming on board to help Tanner as a project manager. Blake brings his people skills, design capability, enthusiasm and determination to offer superior customer experience to our clients. As the company has grown so has the need for a bigger team. In 2013 son Kyle Rave joins Marti, Tanner and Blake to round out this talented family team at The Rave Group. Kyle graduated from The University of Iowa and comes to The Rave Group with six years of Insurance catastrophe claims experience where he traveled throughout the country helping homeowners in need. Kyle’s knowledge of structures, materials and customer service makes him the most recent asset to the company. The Rave Group is in constant pursuit of quality in everything they build.
